Oh Crap Charity Work

When you book a dog crap cleanup service with us you are making more of an impact than you may realize.

In addition to being passionate about my family, and wanting a business to benefit them, I have always been passionate about being a part of the community. I knew early on that I wanted this service to be bigger than just leaving a clean yard at the end of the day. We posted on Facebook asking if anyone knew any good no-kill animal shelters in the Las Vegas area that we could potentially sponsor and donate to. Hearts Alive Village was mentioned multiple times, so we arranged a meeting and instantly knew we had found a good fit. The funds donated are used for vet visits, hospital care, and fostering services. With dogs being the foundation of our business it is important for us to help find all dogs a great home. In addition to Hearts Alive Village, we donate to an organization called Operation Underground Railroad, whose aim is ending human trafficking and slavery. While their organization is not tied to pets directly, I feel very strongly towards their cause. How did Oh Crap get Started?

You might think a dog poop clean-up business is a little unique. Entrepreneurship was always a goal it just so happened I had a good idea that people in the Las Vegas area needed.

I have always wanted to start a business that eventually my children could work for when they are old enough to drive/have a job. In the last blog I introduced my wife and kids, they are very hands-on and involved in Oh Crap!

I had been thinking I wanted to something service-based, but had difficulty coming up with an idea. One day while driving home, I randomly thought about a dog poop business, and at first, laughed at the thought, but as I sat down and started to put ideas on paper it all fit together. 

Oh Crap was established in February of 2019. We have been in business for almost 2 years. From that start, we have been a proud family business that services the Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada areas. We hope to see you join our satisfied clientele and are excited to see our company grow.

Oh Crap! is a hands-on family business. I (Sean) am the owner and often the technician to clean up the yards. My wife, Tori, manages our social media accounts, as well as creates content for our Instagram, Facebook, and tik tok. On occasion one of our three children may tag along to meet some of the pups/earn a couple of dollars by helping with the routes around Las Vegas. We are proud of the work we do and the opportunity to bring our kids along is a great bonus.

Recently we hired 3 new trained technicians as a result of the growth we’ve been experiencing. Their names are Scott, Luis, and Ky. They are a great group of guys, and although not related by blood, we consider them family! We are so grateful for the growth around Las Vegas.
